Less-Privileged Children a dedicated to Procuring resources for underprivileged children who are confronted by risky and systemic barriers these children face, the immediate resource gaps, and the long-term societal consequences of inaction. A child protection and aid foundation is implemented by Community Right To Life Foundation involves a comprehensive approach to safeguard children's rights by providing direct assistance and implementing preventative measures. According to the Foundation and the constitution of Uganda, defines a child as a person below the age of eighteen years. Many organizations are implementing Projects that addresses and prevent child abuse, neglect, and exploitation through community awareness campaigns, capacity building for local agencies among others. The government majorly focuses on policy formation, Capacity Building and Mentorship, and production of Information Communication Education Materials. The Foundation is among the few NGOs that are Providing essential services like Feeding the Need Children, Shelter, Education, Clothes and Medication. They can also include more technical support services such as establishing Family Based Care Alternatives, Counseling and Advocacy for Policy Changes, Disseminating Need Child IEC Materials. Approximately 2.5 million Children in Uganda are Orphans, and an estimated 8 million are Considered Vulnerable to arm. Many face heightened risks of violence, abuse and neglect. The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) highlights that 44% of Ugandan children Suffer from multidimensional poverty, lacking access to essentials. 59 Act Cap is to enhance the protection of children; to strengthen the provision for guardianship of children; to strengthen the conditions for inter- family/community adoption; to prohibit corporal punishment; to provide for the National Children Authority, repeal the National Council for Children. The biggest challenges for children in Uganda include poverty, health care, low education rates, and child marriage, to name a few. In economically disadvantaged communities, the escalating cost of basic educational materials and services including fee as a principal factor creates an insurmountable barrier to formal schooling for underprivileged children and youths. While the economy is not fevering public education subsidized, families living below the poverty line are frequently forced to choose between immediate survival needs—such as food and shelter—and the nominal costs of school uniforms, textbooks, sanitary pads, shoes, and stationary. Without these essential tools, children experience severe factors blow to their self-esteem, poor academic performance, or face premature dropout rates to contribute to immediate household income. This lack of basic resources deepens the educational equity gap, trapping another generation of marginalized children in a continuous cycle of poverty, social exclusion, and limited economic mobility. Millions of vulnerable and less-privileged children worldwide suffer from a severe deficit in basic life necessities due to deep-seated familial poverty and systemic inequality. Parents and guardians in low-income brackets struggle constantly to afford foundational provisions like seasonal clothing, proper footwear, hygiene materials, and stable nutrition. Growing up with chronic resource deprivation directly impairs a child's cognitive development, physical well-being, and capacity to engage socially. Without external intervention to secure and distribute these vital physical goods, these children remain highly susceptible to health crises, systemic neglect, and prolonged marginalization from mainstream society. The Purchase of Less-Privileged Children Project shall provide an avenue for the target population identity, holistic care and support for underprivileged children in our catchment areas in Uganda. The program shall cover the essential need of accommodation, and leverage the ground for other basic needs addressed. Community Right To Life Foundation treasure food, shelter and education for all children and it is not just a right but a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and inspire growth in their communities.
